I have the privilege of being able to make a special announcement here on the C&F forum and it gives me a great deal of pleasure. A lot of good things have come out of Chiff & Fipple, but how can you beat this?
In 2001, two people from opposite sides of the Atlantic joined the Chiff & Fipple community. Through a common interest in music they became friends, and met in person for the first time in 2003 at the Willie Clancy music festival in Ireland. The friendship has grown over time and continues to strengthen each day.
I am delighted to announce that Martin Milner and Avanutria (Beth) were married in Miami on February 2nd, 2006, in front of a small family gathering. They have recently returned from their honeymoon, and would like to share the good news with all their friends here in the Pub.
Please join me in congratulating these two lovely people. I wish them a long, happy, and healthy life together, filled with good times and good music.
