Sinéad O'Connor's new reggae album
I think Sinéad O'Connor's newest album, a whole CD of religious reggae covers, recorded in Jamaica, is a super wonderful thing. Everybody should buy it.

hmmm
I must confess, I clicked on this thread desperately hoping to see a picture of Ms. O'Connor with dreadlocks. A kind of karmic yang to her ying shaved head days. Sorry I am easily distracted, carry on.

Hmm...The Lion And The Cobra (her first album, before she became really famous) is pretty angry, as are parts of Universal Mother. "Fire On Babylon," a song about child abuse, is one of the angriest (and most beautiful) songs I have ever heard in my life.Tiff wrote:which album is the angry one...or is that just a rumour that someone told me?

She retired a few times. She retired from music when she became a Catholic priest in the Latin Tridentine Church (she taught religion to school children during this time), then she later retired from the Priesthood. And she also retired from music again when she felt she was becoming too famous again. But she always comes out of retirement. With the latest retirement, she has said that since she came out of it, she is only going to record religious music.fel bautista wrote:I thought she "retired"???? and sean nos was the last album
I've been waiting years for her to record a country/gospel album. I believe her voice would be stellar for such a thing.

I dont know. I wish she'd make her mind up.
One minute she wants our hand on her, the next shes telling us to throw them down again!
Is it a game of "simple sinead says"?
I want your hands on me
What I want, give me
You know I wanna please you
What I wanna do to you
You don't waste no time, do you?
You know I'm looking through you
Why you wanna tease me
I want you to come and please me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
Put'em on, put'em on, put'em on me
You know that I can thrill you
I want you call me to you
I wanna move, will you? I really wanna feel you
