Thank you!
Here I was, sick and feeling depressed, when I clicked on your links and lost myself in this fantastic music.
Looks like it's going to be a good day after all. Thanks, Phil!

Actually, Paul's "whistle" is more likely an Uilleann pipe chanter.

Am I missing something?
Can we cut Phil Hardy a little slack on this site?
Phil posted simple links to some great music clips, one in this whistle forum and others in pipe and flute forum. After all, the clips featured whistle, flute and pipes. The posts on the other forums got pulled (maybe because it was a second post) and Phil decided to pull the remainder. Thus this dead topic.
I am new to this forum, so I am very ignorant of what has gone before. However, I do know that Phil hosts a lot of great music downloads at significant cost to him. (Download bandwidth ain't cheap.) Sure, the clips are on a commercial site, but there is no blatant advertising in this case and none at all in these particular music clips.
Phil is a major whistle craftsman (not that I have any of his whistles) and -- perhaps just as important to the whistle community -- a chronicler of great performances the like of which most of us will never see in person.
Let's show a little appreciation.

Sure we are not hitting on Phil -
Least I'm not anyway - My Songbird
is a beautiful whistle at a reasonable
price - I want to see more like it
from Phil.
So not Phil bashing then
OK
