TML..can ye be a bit more specific as to where in the UK ?..the reason I ask is the North West of the disUnited Kingdom could be the Outer Hebrides... which would make Manchester seem a bit odd..however if ye mean the North West o England then thats a different matter...(although Manchester would still be a bit odd )

yup Manchester certainly is a bit odd, specially those Utd fans who watch their team play at 'The Theatre of In Your Dreams'

Yes, certainly. North West England. The venue is Newton le Willows (www.n-le-w.co.uk). If you dont know whereabouts - it is on the M6 J23 or on the M62 J10 almost slap-bang in the middle of Liverpool and Manchester, Wigan and Warrington, St. Helens and Salford, Leigh and Widnes. So if you enjoy rugby you'd love it here!

Its my mums birthday (awww) and a small ceili band is wanted (pref with Uilleann Pipes, no dancing caller is required) and a Highland piper for a couple of rousing solos. =)

Hey I'm really looking forward to this now =)

Cheers.

I've got just what you ordered. 'Course you'll have to fly us in from America and include accommodation.

Sheesh. So *thats* what Richard Branson is doing these days :D

Naw, he wont do - any more ideas for bands who would give us a few tunes and maybe bring a piper along with them?
