Palindromes- cleverer than anagrams!!

Post by flanum »

I love these.

Palindromes: sentences that read exactly the same in reverse!

eg

"Now sir, a war is never even...sir a war is won"!

or

"Some medic i use damned god as sad ogden made suicide memos"!

Listen to me young fellow, what need is there for fish to sing when i can roar and bellow?

A man, a plan, a canal – Panama

Steve
"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high
I am the life that'll never, never die.
I'll live in you if you'll live in me -
I am the lord of the dance, said he!

Egad! A base tone denotes a bad age.

I have a hazy memory of paying 100 baht for that service during a night on the town in Bangkok. I was much younger then, of course.

Rats live on no evil star.

Or as when Adam and Eve introduced themselves to each other:

Adam: "Madam, I'm Adam."

To which she replied with one of her own: "Eve."

I think I'm going demented now. Everything that's posted I have to check. I just discovered that "Reading my memoirs?" isn't a palindrome. :boggle:
