January 31st was Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day!!! I can't believe we missed it!

You're kidding?! Where were we?? Tossing back bubbly drink and saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new-- when we could have been singing the praises of bubble wrap and rolling around in glee! This is a sad thing indeed.

Yes, I was going to post on the new avatar when I saw it in another thread... but then I saw this and had to comment. See how easily I get distracted when you have the better half of The Brain?? Don't forget-- I get it back on Wednesday.

Bubble wrap bikini... I wonder if it was made by the same woman I saw on television who makes bubble wrap lingerie and wedding gowns...

My brother and his wife, who live 1,000 miles from me, visit me about every other year. On their last visit they gave me a present, which was two rolls of bubble wrap that they had purchased at Walmart. They also gave me an old Kirby vacuum sweaper that I quickly took to Goodwill. My brother always knows exactly what I need. I can use the bubble wrap, though, as it is just the thing for wrapping flutes for shipping.
