I just told the whistlers about your Dixon Low D/Flute combo, because I think it's a great deal for anyone who's wanted to try them both. That comes out to $32.50 per instrument! I was actually tempted myself, because I've never tried that Low D, and people have commented how they liked it. But, I guess I'll let it go...have had a few too many Low Ds by now...maybe! I guess I'll just concentrate on the flute for now! :(

MsC,

I tried to send you a PM about the Dixon, but I can't tell if it went through. Please PM me if it didn't, and thanks.

Tell us something.: Of course I'm not a bot; I've been here for years... Apparently that isn't enough to pass muster though!

That would be quite easy wouldn't you say? (Must resist go to sleep on the floor when there is a perfectly fine bed two yards away!)

The Copley and Dixon Duo have been sold. The Healy piccolo and the Model F fife are still available.

The Copley was bought by myself, and I got it today, in good condition and good time
(the biggest delay was me getting the money order, I'm afraid!)

My first impression is very good. It plays very similarly to my Seery, only more easily
and with a nicer tone, which is pretty much exactly what I was looking for, so I'm
very pleased. Unfortunately, it'll be until tomorrow evening before I can sit down with
it again!

After some time with it, I may post a fuller commentary in its own thread.

What am I waiting for? Other than impatiently waiting for the end of work so I can play. ;)

My guess with a Copley is that your just waiting for some time to get to know it so you can go from "very pleased" to "Hubba Hubba!" :D

The one's I have played are really excellent instruments have fun.
