Post by Jerry Freeman »

Y'all didn't happen to see the guy on Letterman's Stupid Human Tricks segment who played The William Tell Overture on a turkey baster, didja?

Best wishes,
Jerry

I feel so violated.

Well they're no friends of mine.

Maybe we can get Dave to let us know when there's a rerun of that episode?

I wasn't watching Letterman, but I did hear the segment from the other room, as the television set was still tuned to Channel Six, since the Ten o'clock news.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I think we need at least two of these babies, so that happyturkeyman and Cranberry can play a duet for the C & F Thansgiving party. :D

BTW ...

In case anyone wants to try it, he filled the bulb with water (colored so you could see it). Holding the baster bulb down, he blew across the end like a soda bottle, squeezing the bulb to raise or lower the water level and change the pitch.

Why....I'm.....getting inspiration! I'm going to make a set of pipes out of an enema bag and go on star search!
My opinion is stupid and wrong.
