Just wondering....

Post by Doc Jones »

I know this is a really stupid question, but I have to ask.

Am I the only irish flute player in the state of Idaho?

Just feeling a little lonely I guess.

No! there's that other guy... oh, you said Idaho? I thought you said Indiana.

Sorry... i'm afraid you're the only one.

Of course that also means you're the best! :)
On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog!

Ooh...hey, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe I should go professional.

I think NorCalMusician purchased a ranchette in Idaho. Doesn't he play the flute?

Not sure doc, although having spent my younger childhood in Twin Falls, and in and around Boise, I CAN confirm that I've never seen one there. Of course I wasn't really looking for one as a kid either!

Mrs. NorCalMusician does.

Of course (for non-US folks) that doesn't mean that they'll be terribly close to the Doc. Idaho is nearly 500 miles (~700 km) long and around 300 miles (~500 km) across at the widest point.

How far would you drive for a session, Doc?

Yeah, Norcal's coming eventually and, ironically enough, his place is only about three miles from mine. So far it's an empty lot but I have high hopes. :)

Now all I have to do is convince him to get some really cool flutes for me to try. :P

I am in Central Idaho.
As a tune I travel quite a bit more outside of Idaho...

And as an entity you have an amazing capacity for being in two places at once!
