For Sale: Ralph Sweet 1-key applewood flute - a bargain!

Post by Kevin L. Rietmann »

I have a 1-key (D#/Eb) applewood flute by Ralph Sweet for sale, marked "1622" on all three sections. Go to the Sweetheart website to see what these flutes look like, http://www.sweetheartflute.com. The "rings" are turned out of the wood itself, instead of being metal or imitation ivory. Holes are medium large I'd say. I bought this flute from Andy's Front Hall about 6 years ago and paid about $230. I'm only asking $200 for it now. Ralph's one-key sells for $335 these days. I never played it much, due to learning curve woes, and being too busy playing the pipes. Now that I've come along a bit as a flute player (learning on other flutes) I can tell that this is actually a pretty good instrument, which is what a couple of real flute players told me at the time... Very lightweight, too. I can send a little sound sound sample (a reel) of it if you'd like.
PM or email me at rietmann@arczip.com.
