Homeless Overton Low D Seeking Residence

Post by stimps »

Hey folks. =) I'm in Fall "you don't use this enough so you should probably sell it to someone who does" housecleaning mode. My Overton (Colin Goldie) has been staring at me for weeks, asking me why I don't play it enough. It's true, though, I just don't play enough to justify having it. I got it from The Whistle Shop a couple years ago, and am just not maximizing it.

I got it for $200 USD/300 CAD at the time, and I'm willing to sell it for $100 CAD + shipping to anyone who's interested. Please contact me at overton@stimps.com if you are serious about it -- also indicate if you have any preferences about how it's shipped (surface mail, express mail, etc). I have a paypal account, so it would be easy enough to deposit that way. I'm a good friend of rich's (board admin), so you can ask him if I'm trustworthy. =) I promise to send the whistle packed well with its carry sleeve.

Anyway, let me know!

Happy tootling! I'm off to clean up some more...

You simply cannot have ALL the Overtons, Bloomfield! Besides, wouldn't it be better to proselytize, thereby creating an adoring following...think, Bloomfield, think...

Sold to Wombat, who was up on Australia time. I've kept all the messages from everyone who wrote to me just in case, but in the meantime, consider it sold.

To everyone: I know I'm selling it at a very inexpensive price, but it's more important to me that it go to a good home than that I get any money for it. It's a wonderful instrument, and I just want it to be used as much as possible.

Thanks!

My other 9 Overtons are in very good health, actually. :P

Who knows, it just might be going on gift or loan to someone elsewhere.
