Anyone want a really nice tuner? Peterson VS-1 on eBay

Post by eskin »

Hi y'all,

I've upgrade to the next generation of strobe tuner from Peterson, so I've put my as-new VS-1 on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... =1288&rd=1

These Peterson tuners are the top of the line for speed and accuracy, extremely fast response, stable, and very precise.

In case anyone can use it...

Cheers,

Michael

Uh, thanks for the info...

Take a look at the historical pricing on eBay for these things... I thought my asking price was in line...

If it doesn't sell, I'll drop the price...

Sheesh...

You're right...

There's been a few sold on eBay ranging from $139.50 to $187.50 with an average of $157.80. One of the new VS-2's sold for $189.50--a pretty good price.

With what model did you replace it? I just got off the phone with Peterson tech support who recommended the V-SAM for pipes etc. He said to wait a couple of weeks before ordering as they were recalling that model due to problems with temperment programming not working correctly. If you already got one of those, you may want to contact Peterson.

Hi Ted,

Yes, I bought a V-SAM... Seems to work fine, but I'll check with Peterson.

Thanks for the tip!
