For Sale: Brian Howard practice set in D with case

Post by liestman »

I am selling my Brian Howard practice set. It is listed on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321955970319

Description:
Uilleann pipes practice set in D (chanter, bellows, bag, connecting hose, with mandolin case to fit). Made by Brian Howard. Ebony chanter with box mounts and stainless steel chanter top and bottom iris. Bellows are small but really work great. Bellows outlet hose is easily removable for packing in the mandolin case, that fits the whole set nicely and protects quite well. Brand new Howard reed (you can also just mail order them from his business if you need another). Bag is leather by L&M. Set made in Sheffield, England by the famous maker Brian Howard, who has taught several other top makers their craft. Definitely not a cheap import from the east. No known defects or problems. No keys on the chanter BUT Brian can add them (he uses clarinet-like posts for his key supports, so they can be added to any of his chanters). I bought the set to loan to students but have decided that was not for me, so the practice set must go.
yer friend and mine,
