The Weekenders wrote:As walden is an avatar artist, I don't know how long this latest one will be up but check it out. The other night on Chiffy Chat, we were yukking it up about "huge flocks of soiled slum monkeys swooping down on unsuspecting fruit vendors" (yes, tribute to MontyPython). So now he has a monkey with a purloined whistle!

PS and I see Serpent has returned to his Kojak on steroids av...! What'd that guy used to say on the show? (Please, no offense, serp, but I get the feeling I better buy a Serpent, or else!!) :)
my boys just stopped in an' picked up some Tunable Steel Serpents in low D. Watch yer kneecaps, baby...

Um, I would be happy to show you all the picture I have selected, but I don't know how to get it down to under 20 KHz on my old Mac.

Could someone post me instructions or e-mail me?

And, how are you supposed to use these emoticons? How do you get them in the message?

Hi Elliott, sorry can't help with the Avatar-I was grappling with the same problem myself earlier! Emoticons easy, even for I.T. challenged me, simply left click on the Emoticon of your choice. like so.

Tell us something.: I've been with Chiff and Fipple since shortly after I bought my first low D. I've learned loads from this community, and I intend to continue to learn and contribute. Many thanks to Dale and everyone who makes this site happen.

Okay folks. Be honest with me. I can take it.

Is anyone weirded out by my avatar? My wife thinks that -- and I quote -- "It looks like an evil owl." It's a CELTIC BIRD for crying out loud! Is it just too small for anyone to catch the CELTIC KNOTS on my CELTIC BIRD? Does anyone else think it looks like "an evil owl"?

I'm sleeping on the couch!

What's wrong with evil owls. They're celtic. There’s an ancient Welsh story where a lady named Bloedeuedd tried to kill her husband and as punishment was turned into an owl. So she was an evil owl. :)

You might upload them to http://www.myimager.com or http://www.gifworks.com , and reduce them there. Although I think the limit is 20 Kilobytes, rather than Kilohertz.
