I have been on a comedy spree after the kazoo thread I am afraid:

I can't find the link now, but I have been forever changed by it. When people wax lyrical about sean nós singing I will always remember Tommy Tiernan's impression of the oul wan in the corner screeching away, "Da boats are all gone. Da fish are all gone." How can I take sean nós seriously with that in my head?

Sometimes. I. feel. like a motherless child...

Saw/heard Richie Havens tonight. Very, very cool. He broke a string on the first chord of "Motherless Child" and just re-tuned the guitar in a few strums and kept right on going.

Great show. Included a terrific melody of "Maggie's Farm" and "Won't Get Fooled Again."
