Well, will wonders never cease! That's a great feature. Thanks, Dale.
No wonder you're the moderator...or that Rich is.

Probably would happen is my guess...a quick glance at even the ITM forum shows threads hijacked by the usual silliness...Examples:

What's a Pratie, 15 replies, about 50% OT

And then there's Text Messages to Ireland from the US..still haven't quite figured that relationship to ITM out.

But those are extreme examples. On the whole, looking over the ITM forum, you'll see it's mostly on topic, with only a little OT. I would hope the same would be true on the whistle board after a whistle/OT split.
OMG! Someone asked that same question (what's a pratie?) at IGTF, was answered quickly, and that was the end of it. You mean they asked it on the ITM forum too?

You know, guys, if you ever get Irish language questions on any of the dedicated boards and can't or don't want to deal with them, just send them over to http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com and we'll handle them.

Do you think that a separate forum will help the quality of the posts? :D

Denny
LOL - Mmm... no, but it will make it easier to sort through the crappy ones.

ditto, probably because I never come to this site from that page. I have a direct link to this forum and the ITM forum, as I'm not interested in pipes or flutes. Soon I can ditch the link to this forum and go straight to the "everything off topic and therefore potentially interesting to a non-whistler" forum :boggle:

I too had no idea that you could view all new posts with the simple click of a link. Very cool!

Now we'll just wait for the big unveiling.

So, did anyone join the board on August 4, 1942?

And the drift is on. :D

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

I HAVE been feeling confused of late. I appreciate that someone is willing to take responsibility. That's comforting.

Best wishes,
