I remember Mick playing "the Cauliflower" and "Kissing and Drinking" from the Goodman collection at the NE Tionol a few years ago.[/quote]

Peter Browne recorded an hour-long show on RTE radio which featured Mick, Emer Mayock and Zoe Conway playing tunes from the Goodman collection. I think it was broadcast on the Rolling Wave in 2008 or 2009. You can stream the episodes of the Rolling Wave from the RTE website.

So far an internet-search only led to the Claddach label. Does somebody know an other way to get this CD?

BTW - I utterly dislike the idea of getting registered, establishing a password and go to the "basket". Of course this is part of a strategy to "tie a customer", but if I had established a password for every f.....g place, my collection of passwords could cope with O´Neal´s collection of tunes. :swear:

I'll bet that Custy's will carry the CD, if they don't have it already. And I believe Custy's is happy to take orders by phone or mail if you don't want to go through the website. They also take PayPal in lieu of a credit card.

I'm assuming it'll eventually be available on iTunes for download as well; Kitty Lie Over is available on iTunes. I have no more room for CDs, so if a new one comes in an old one needs to go out. ;-)

All bar two of the tracks were recorded in Peadar O Riada's kitchen in Cuil Aodha, the other three in Mick O' Brien's house in Raheny in Dublin
Am I missing something here?

Any business that opts to erect barriers between the customer and a sale must have great confidence in it's product, I suppose. Or they're idiots.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

1. Did You Wash Your Father's Shirt? 2. Paddy Cronin's Beauty. It's track 4 of the CD.
