Actually, I did include a tune from India. . . p. 19, "Pinnal Kolattam". . . it's at the top of the page. It's very simple, to accompany a folk dance from Tamilnadu -- the whole purpose of the book is a sampler of simple world tunes easily performed on whistle.

I live in a township where about 15% of the population is South Asian, mostly from India -- we had until quite recently 2 fulltime radio stations playing a mix of modern and trad indian music and there are a dozen or so dance troupes using live music -- nirvana!
