Someone should get a smiting for this...

A forum about Uilleann (Irish) pipes and the surly people who play them.

What a messy situation that was!!! Jay had a bunch of stuff coming to him, but sand down the drones was absolutely the wrong way of going about it. The guy who poured the sand was Rusty Alexander, and years after the event he confessed it to me and I smiled and let him know exactly how he would've 'looked liked' if he had done it to me...he got the message and promised not to do it to me... :D

A 'feck' of bodhrans....hmmmm... I... LIKE it!!!:D :D

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I'm partial to "a pig of pipers" myself.

There's anold Irish image of a pig playing the pipes, but naturally I can't find it when I want to.

Peter Pepper picked a peck of pickled pipers...

I suppose you could just say 'a plurality of pipers'!

I like the sound of a Posse of Pipers, but the posse would probably be going after the pipers.

I believe the proper term is a depression of pipers  Despair is reserved for reedmakers
