I think its miraculous that you got it working on my Mac and others PC in one weekend.
Congrats Rich, and I understand that you had to go over to this new scheme of things by necessity not choice.
But graphically, it is a Cooperman. But that has been the trend in many visual areas of design by marketing types, software engineers and other non-visual artists who have control of such things. The chaotic 21st century, everywhere you look. Like one big USA Today page 2 and 3.

- Tell us something.: Good to be home, many changes here, but C&F is still my home! I think about the "old" bunch here and hold you all in the light, I am so lucky to have you all in my life!

mac user here too and i must say it's a very good thing you updated to the latest version of phpbb.
if you want, you can design a graphical theme to make the new board look like the old ;). that way we can have the best of both worlds.
now i can finally be e-mail notified of replies. woot
thanks for the hard work. keep it up

Well, since I use the same sofware, obviously I like the format!
Eventually, I would recommend a color scheme change, this one (Especially on a laptop) appears a little "washed out". Pretty good on normal monitors, though.
As far as the older Netscape browsers, that's going to be a problem, since they don't support a lot of the stylesheet items that went into the new phpBB version that this is.

Re: The look is alright.
Please note that providing a legitimate email address in your profile is now required; Dale and I must be able to contact you if you want to use the forum. If you don't want your email address publicly available, there's a checkbox in the Profile screen which will prevent it from being displayed to everyone.Walden wrote:I can get used to the new look. What I don't like is that, unlike the old version, it refuses me on a spamblocked email address.
That said, in case it's a real bug, what email address were you entering that gave you an error?
Cheers,
-Rich
