Those eyebrows are fake. Fake!
She plucked out all the hairs and penciled them in.
OK, OK, I'm being mean . . . but come on, she gorgeous. I can't hold a candle to her, or a tin whistle.

It's just . . .sickening.

Yes! We're back on track!!!!
I sing the birdie tune
It makes the birdies swoon
It sends them to the moon
Just like a big balloon

Tell us something.: Good to be home, many changes here, but C&F is still my home! I think about the "old" bunch here and hold you all in the light, I am so lucky to have you all in my life!

I suspect Anna.....compared to us....she's scrawny !
Our figures, Darlin', look like a Goddess...compared to that, way back when, archaeologists say, only the most important elements of ancient life and society were immortalized in stone, suggesting that the obese women who served as models for the figurines were either royalty, or were accorded superhuman powers — specifically, the power never to go hungry.

Among the ancient Greeks and Romans, plumpness, particularly in women, was seen as desirable, a sign of well-being and fertility, and the goddesses were often depicted as hefty matrons.

To say that Cassius had a 'lean and
hungry look' was not a compliment."

Shoot, Neil, I was hoping that you were Simon Fraser.
Nope. Sorry to disappoint, BUT ...
Simon Fraser sort of fits this forum if you happen to be interested in Scottish music. He was a tune collector.
... I followed the link you posted and discovered -- yep -- that I actually have his book.

I hadn't looked at it for a long time, ya see, and plumb forgot I had it. Thanks for reminding me.

Since the good Capt'n Fraser left us for a brighter shore in 1852, I just can't be him. Ah well.
Best regards,

Hey we lucked out. No eight inchs of snow on Saturday. A mere dusting of 2 inches and tempertures in the 40's by the afternoon. If this is global warming, YIPEE!

Now this picture of Andrea Corr is much better. Still slim but looking less scrawny. Maybe she was just getting over the flu in the last picture. Lovely girl with a lovely voice. But then I used to say the same thing about Karen Carpenter.

Aw come on you guys!!! Neil Dickey is a well-known composer of piping music,...the Clumsy Lover, the Acid Piper and several other awesome tunes being his legacy to the GHB community. And if I'm not wrong, he played for the Simon Frazer Pipe Band. And he's really, really funny as an MC.

Umm...actually, if you soaked the sponge in liquid nitrogen it would shatter upon touching the nail. It wouldn't work. (Hey *I* watched the Terminator; remember the robot dude that get's doused with the liquid nitrogen and shatters, only to gloop back together?) However, you could soak it in liquid cement and pretty much drive anything with it. I wonder how much the sponge would end up weighing?

I'm really enjoying reading this topic - it's so funny! And WOW! 145 - 146 after I post mine, replies! Yeesh, I think Phil Hardy broke a record or something! Do they give out awards for that?

I suppose if you leave it in the freezer overnight it should work by morning... Now we're only small (brad) nails not 10 penny nails.

Tony,
I made the freezer suggestion earlier. I even outlined the process in a
<a href=http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php ... 1>Previous Post (click here to check it out</a>.
Strangely Ms. Lemon's Graphics Guy took exception to it...

er.. maybe it was the sponge bath comment...
Oh well....
