It's not like he was advertising and we bit. In all fairness, he has been dealing with some serious stuff this last year or so, and we actually talked him into making more despite that fact.

Well actually when you look at his web site it does look like he is advertising - or at least offering whistles for sale. I'm sincerely sorry for his troubles and hope things look up for him soon. Hopefully he will find time to update his site so it is not misleading.

Yes, that he should do... either remove them from seeming availability or raise the price to where it pays him to make them so that they actually are available.

I just got my laughing whistle on Wednesday and it's great! I ordered it back in July but I think it was worth the wait. I've got an older one that I was borrowing from a friend until mine came and mine seems to clog less than the older one. Maybe Noah has been doing some tweaking. For those of you still waiting don't give up hope!

I contacted Noah in early January; 08, and ordered one. He responded and put me on his list so I'm patiently waiting. No big deal; I'm sure it will come sooner or later.
Sad to hear he's currently not taking any more orders; but as has been said, with a price increase that could probably change.

Hello, I ordered two Laughing Whistles last spring and they finally came in. Unfortunately, I no longer need them. If anyone still wants one I have two brand new ones for sale. One D for $80 and One Bb for $85.

This seemed like the best place to ask, though. The website is still up, though at a different URL from the link on C&F, last updated 3/08. So it's plenty possible that Mr. Herbison is no longer making whistles, but then again he might be. I figured someone on here might have more information, but I guess I'll just send an email before I order and ask, so it doesn't matter that much...
