This is a track by prominent Moscow musicians Alexander Karavaev (whistle), KeyReel Raskolenko (fiddle) and Viktor Livanov (guitar). It's a composition of Alexander. The whistle is a Goldie low F.
I like it :).

Composed a little sad waltzy tune a few days ago. Played on my susato low G and a yamaha concert flute. Its not too impressive, but I thought some of you might wanted to have a listen.

i've just come across footage of liam o'flynn, seane keane and seamus ennis all playing Fasten the leg on her - apologies if this has already been referred to here - personally i was surprised to find it as i didn't know o'flynn and ennis were ever recorded together and i didn't know that seane keane was a whistle player at all never mind such an accomplished one

Well here goes, here's a vid I made, with me playing whistle and myself playing fiddle along it added on later. I thought I'd stick a link in here as a way of re-introducing myself after having not been on the forum here for a half year or so. What got me back here was recently getting my new whistle (a Sindt), and getting back into playing after a few months whistle-hiatus.

I hope it's not too inappropriate to post this here? (What with all the links to completely awesome whistle playing in this thread).

In case anyone happens to know the name of the tune, please let me know?
