My copies arrived this week. It's an odd feeling in a way--but nice. Here's hoping university libraries will pick it up. (If nothing else, this will give me ammo when I apply for full professor down the road.)

Re: My book on Kierkegaard is finally out
Can't have too many books on Kierkegaard, I always say...
Congrats to you-- quite an achievement.
Needs a flashier cover though. Something eye catching, yet dignified. I'm thinking scantily clad women playing pennywhistles...

Re: My book on Kierkegaard is finally out
Wow, another book to add to my collection of books about Kierkegaard. I would tell you about Kierkegaard Club but the first rule of Kierkegaard Club is that you don't talk about Kierkegaard Club.
Congratulations. Nothing like getting published and printed and having the books arrive at the door.

Thanks for the congratulations, all.
Paul: I'm afraid the cover is about as sexy as the subject (though I still find it interesting). Changing the cover would only make people mad when they saw what the book's actually about.
mutepointe: Please send me non-information about the club you can't tell me about.

Thanks, Jim. (FYI, I'm headed to a two week seminar on Buddhism in June. Looking forward to learning more.)jim stone wrote:Congratulations!
