Have you searched the archives? We've done this one thoroughly before.

Seriously, I'm happy to play this game again. It's one we never get tired of. Currently, my Overton Eb, Bb and low F, Copeland low D and Burke AlPro C and low G.

Favorite expensive: toss-up between Parkhurst and Cronnolly

Best,

Tell us something.: Just updating my profile after 16+ years of C&F membership. Sold most of my flutes, play the ones I still own and occasionally still enjoy coming here and read about flute related subjects.

Generation Bb!

And Overton Low F for playing Lunasaish duets with Jens. For we all love Lunasa (That's a given)

My current favorite whistle is a Copperhead retrofit head on a brass Feadóg D tube.

Inexpensive D: Clare

E, Bb, and A: Water Weasel
D: It's a tossup between Thin Weasel, Wilson (evidently I got a good one), Burke WBB, and Bleazey boxwood
C: Thin Weasel by a longshot
low-G: Burke AlPro
low-E: Burke composite
low-D: Copeland by a longshot (and three months ago I thought the Burke AlPro was the only low-D out there for me)

James,

The Cronnolly you're talking about, is it the heavy duty whistle in delrin? I tried it once and, well, let's say that Susato is a quiet whistle compared to it. I'm surprised that it's your favorite whistle.
