Hello!

Post by technowhistle »

technowhistle first posting here ;)

First, my kit (narrowed down to favourites):

Weston D Whislte in Blackthorn.
Alba Standard Low D.
Tanglewood cheapo tw-st-usa solid top guitar.
Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar.
Shure SM58.
Evolution MK-361 midi keyboard.
Tascam US-144mkII Audio/midi interface.
REAPER software DAW.
Various Percussion.

Second, Music.

Psych Rock, Trad English folk with a pinch of ITM and scots tunes, Electronic Music.

Third, Me.

technowhistle: I enjoy playing whistles to microphones and have been for a year or two, I'm always learning new things with them though, and what I lack in talent I (try to) make up for in creativity. I like home recording, so I could help with that possibly? Also, I LOVE art.

Last, Hello!

I am cat mad, I have 4 of the real things and collect cat things (not that I have a massive collection - it's nice enough though).

Miaow!

I am very scared of dogs and don't like them at all.

I have a second hand liking of zombies, this is because of my friend who LOVES the things. 'Zombies are great!' she might say. The greatness is also true with my abla (which I recently discovered is meant to be pronounced 'alva' - I might be wrong though!). I don't think I'll be posting it anywhere though... - if you're ever in west wales then you could try it out but other than that, the alba is with me. :) Nice try all the same... :P

My grandfather was from Wales he was big man, near five feet, I think he would say the same thing, send it on over. We only have two cats the city won't allow more. We lost our oldest dog, our boy, in January so we only have two dogs now also. They all party when we are away, they think we don't notice, believe me I know when I am short a beer.

Is your beard multi-coloured or is it just red like mine?

Am I always wrong at reading the identity of people with ambiguous nics or are you a bearded lady? It was the cat thing that lead me down the wrong road.

An excellent way to reduce UV exposure, but I notice the ears are exposed. I wish I had thought of this when I had hair. Mine never went higher than my mouth and that was only after meals.

I love Rory's picture and wish I had thought of it. That'll do for a profile picture sometime. Except my beard is grey.

I have four cats too, TW, but I like to walk a dog at the weekend. Not my dog, but it's keen on the walk.

That Weston is certainly a nice piece of work. Do you play high whistles as well or are you concentrating on low whistles?

Oh, and you might want to put your location in your profile. Sometimes it's nice to know your neighbors or at least the time zone they are in.
