Tell us something.: I'm a New York native who gradually slid west and landed in the Phoenix area. I like riding on the back seat of a tandem bicycle. I like dogs and have three of them. I am a sometime actor and an all the time teacher, husband, and dad.

Who said there were no whistlers' mothers on the thread? Go back a couple of pages and see cutie-pie mother Walden (along with various other cp Walden women).

And Kim, yes, Tim will be wearing the sneakers. I'll post a pic when they get here.

And finally, a pic of my older son, Owen (he's 13).

Don't hurry that along, Kim! It will be here before you know it. Just recently (it seems) my daughter was learning to walk, and I turn around twice and 18 years have gone by. She's shopping for colleges now.

So who reformed Walden. At 10 he looked like he was heading for, well, maybe not trouble, but at least mischief. Then by 16 he looks like he's heading for a nice career in the district attorney's office!

Still a cutie-pie, though!

Glad to see that Serpie-pie has at least momentarily overcome his crisis of identity. Still can't remember who's the other guy impersonating him.

(sigh...) nobody would talk to adeiladwr except to mock. Aderyn was the only one who ever sent him a PM (thanks, Andrea), and he couldn't even get a /op in chat. Poor old adeiladwr. I miss him. He rocked. Maybe he'll be back someday...

Proves old Serpent's never die. Their venom just dries up... Be him known henceforth as the Grass Snake. (Sounds more Irish, too...)

Really, Walden?
Yes, I believe one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, though I am not of the religious persuasion which holds that the Catholic and Apostolic Church is confined to those in communion with the See of Rome.

If Serp has now been assigned to the totem of the grass-snake, shouldn't he be more actively involved in the UP forum thread about hemp an' joints an' stuff?

Peace, man, or whatever.....

Uilleann Pipe tech talk #387? Oh, give the poor pipers a break. They get into enough trouble as it is.
