The giveaway is Mrs. Santa's facial hair. She appears to have a full beard.

Barring that, I would have said this was taken in Florida, from the flip-flops and what appears to be a lit-up palm tree in the background.

Me too!
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

C'mon people, everybody knows Australia is the right way up, it's the rest of the world that's upside down and all your avatars appear upside down to us here in Oz.

Because of the strange albino holding a camera in the foreground? I know there's some different fauna down under.

There's not enough detail to determine if the plant in the background is a Victorian Christmas bush so I'm going to have to assume there's Vegamite in the gift box. :D

Don't tell me that it isn't actually Mrs. Claus with a beard but a kangaroo in disguise.

That's on purpose, so they can hear the funnelweb spiders coming for them by the little clicking their exoskeletons make on the floor.
