What does that mean? What are "laundry products"?Because of this appliance's contoured shape, surrounding lighting can cause apparent variations in the color and shading between laundry products. This is normal and does not indicate a defect.

"Laundry Products" Whu?
From a document that came with our new LG front-loading washing machine.
Re: "Laundry Products" Whu?
means that the color of yer new LG front-loading washing machine may seem to be inconsistent across it's surface on account of it having curves and you not having showroom quality lighting in yer laundry area.
just a guess, I'll stay tuned.....or detuned....whatever

Thanks.

It means that the manufacturer got tired of having machines returned for defective exterior painting. They instructed their top advertising specialist to write a warining label that would be clear, informative, and one that would eliminate the defective machine return problem. He wasn't successful.

Just how much variation could there be? I mean, enough to make people doubt the paint consistency on a washer?
Well yes, I suppose if Bud Jr. has his black light set up in one side of the basement, and Little Sue's red light for processing Pan-x film is glowing from the other side...
In that case, yes. Your washer in cobalt blue might take on strange reflections.
be construed as a product defect.

It's an open secret that washing-machines and tumble-driers are fuelled not simply by electricity, but by individual socks. There is nothing you can do but learn to accept the fact.
I am reconciled to the point where I make pairs of my mismatched socks. When people notice, they say "I bet you have another pair like that at home." When I say, no, I haven't, they look puzzled.

sock * underwear = trousersDale wrote:What are "laundry products"?
shirt * towel = bedsheet
etc.
of course, missing socks require
complex numbers, because they
are imaginary:
(underwear + sock*i) * (underwear + sock*i) = underwear^2 + 2*trousers*i - sock^2
which, of course, = kilt.

When I think of laundry products, I think of detergent, fabric softener, etc. Maybe you pour in blue detergent but in the machine it looks purple.

Socks are the larval stage of wire coat hangers. Them more socks you are missing, the more coat hangers you'll have.

Me too. But I never thought that perceived product coloration would be cause for alarm. People might be getting a tad too skittish these days.susnfx wrote:When I think of laundry products, I think of detergent, fabric softener, etc. Maybe you pour in blue detergent but in the machine it looks purple.

Re: "Laundry Products" Whu?
In this house there is a direct correlation between missing socks and through the roof vet bills, no hangers involved. The emergancy clinic has a new whole wing just for us.missy wrote:Socks are the larval stage of wire coat hangers. Them more socks you are missing, the more coat hangers you'll have.
