36. Never carry a whistle with you just for the heck of it. Whistles are cumbersome and heavy and not portable at all. And besides, you may have to kill time somewhere and there is nothing better when killing time than to just sit and wait or stand and wait.

37. What else can you do wrong? Get yourself no good teacher if possible (tought me more in 5 lessons than I did on my own in 2 years) or at least no good online tutor.

39. Think the whistle will help (much) to prepare you for a transverse flute. :really:

And, to kinda preview what I offer as a candidate for
#100: Start on/get a whistle in the first place. I mean, just look what it leads to! :o :boggle:

:swear:   :x   :tomato: :waah: :tantrum:

 :D

43. Don't even consider the alternative uses for the whistle. (Pesky neighbor bothering you. Pull out a whistle. Ask them if they'd like to hear a jig.)

45. Never use your whistle as a straw

46. Don't use your whistle to fight the kid down the street with the plastic lightsaber

47. Use a spatula, not a whistle, to get the mayo at the bottom of the jar.

48. Think that just in case it doesn't work out, you can have a "fall-back" career as a low-whistle swallower in the circus.

Unless, of course, the mayo makes high A and B easier to hit and less piercing.
The Walrus

What would a wild walrus whistle if a walrus could whistle wild?

The second mouse may get the cheese but the presentation leaves a lot to be desired.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

hmm, ok

There must be 50 ways to play your whistle...

Just play it in the back, Jack
Try a new brand, Stan
That ain't a toy, Roy
Just listen to me

You can take it on the bus, Gus
You don't need to practice much
Just buy a high d, Lee
And play it for free
