I am well, mute, thank you. We have a wonderful lady who helps me in the house, which has made a huge difference for me, as I am not always fighting to catch up. My doctors are pleased with me, although I have the occasional wobble to keep them on their toes. We still walk a lot and I am hoping that eventually I will be able to ride my bike again. At present I still go round in circles, which is rather like my walking! I still lean to the right!

Ro is well, and wonderful, and keeps a very close eye on me. He knows where I am because my stick clunks when I walk, so I cannot escape! However, I am a lot more independent than I was! Lots of music, lots of ice cream, the sea, sunshine for almost a week....what more could I ask?

Incidentally, slipping to page 2 is excellent. Page 22 would be even better.

I was pleased the two of you fell off page 1 too. That rocks that you have a wonderful lady who helps out around the house. There are politicians and health insurance minions here still trying to convince us you folks have a horrible health system. I don't believe them.

Personally, I have nothing but good to say for our health system. I cannot even contemplate the cost of all my surgery, if we had had to pay. I would not be here: that is quite certain. My doctors and nurses have become personal friends and have gone far beyond the call of duty to look after me. I am so grateful.

Beryl is my wonderful lady. She calls me "Mrs D" and Ro "Mr Roland," which he loves, and she looks after both of us, and the house, like a mother, someone I have not had for a very long time. She has become another great friend, and because I am still defined as needing help, we do not have to pay.

Thank you all for still being there: we appreciate you so very much.

Its over a month since any postings, hope everything is ok and that you have escaped the floods.

Hello, Dorothy! Did you have a good holiday? You are more likely to be flooded than we are, I think! It is not too bad here, just VERY wet and VERY VERY windy! We live at the top of a hill so, barring landslides, we are safe! Other places near us are flooded, though, and we are having very high tides with the erosion one would expect.

I am well, thank you, and so is Ro. Beryl is still looking after both of us and Ro looks after me! I am just lazy! I still have weekly checkups and hope I may be allowed to restart physio yet again before long. We have been sorting out family problems associated with my father, who is nearly 90, so we have been well occupied.

Lots of whistling and general noise from other instruments, plus lots of tune making and wild wet walks on the beach and on our commons. I am so grateful to have it all.
