... Monty Python's Flying Circus!

Yesterday, 05 October 2009, was the 40th anniversary of Monty Python's Flying Circus. I can't believe I missed it!

And now for something completely different.

Aye, I have about three hours'-worth of telly recorded from the other night to watch when I get in a mood. "Pinin' for the fjords? What kind of talk is that!" :D
"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high
I am the life that'll never, never die.
I'll live in you if you'll live in me -
I am the lord of the dance, said he!

I always needed a translator when I watched this show. I couldn't understand a word they said. Many of my friends were glad to oblige. They got good at it.

One of my six year old granddaughter's favorite things to watch is the Ministry of Silly Walks.
She's getting good at the silly walks. :) -does one then says "who is it?" and I have to tell her which person did what walk, we've got Eric Idle, John Cleese, the Flipper dude, tea lady, old fashioned lady and our favorite- where he jumps really really fast..she's got 'em all down pat.

There was a special on PBS the other night, and they had this sketch on it. I had tears running down my cheeks I was laughing so hard
