Finally, a major media outlet uncovers the truth. Thank you, Walden. Maybe you can make a documentary of it and try to score an Oscar next year.

Nor the Thing, neither, but they did mention Bizarricus, who is probably representative of a host of monsters of less-than-human shape.

The nicest touch was the British Polar expedition of 1848, now thawed, and optimistic about completing their search for the NorthWest Passage.

And yet, somehow, it manages to capture people!

Hey maybe Superman can fix this global warming thing.. All he'd have to do is push the Earth into an orbit slightly further away from the sun...

Beware of unintended consequences. I saw the 1936 film of H.G. Wells' story "The Man Who Could Work Miracles" as a kid, and it scared the heck out of me.

And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

-No worries. Soon Mothra, Godzilla & Raymond Burr will join the tiny pillbox-hatted twins to sequester the evil CO2
monster and sink it where it will reside another thousand years before waking again.

-This will buy Supe and neighbors time to refinance and sell before the next meltdown.
