Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

...That was a rhetorical question, right? Definitely a cutie-pie.

Talking of cutie pies (we were, weren't we?), I've just checked up the local Lunasa dates (5th March at Aladdin theater in Portland) and I'm excited to say that they're going to be joined by c-p KARAN CASEY -- one of my current faves! Don't know if she's going to be there on the other Lunasa dates but if she is then definitely check it out! She is ex-Solas and has one of the most beautiful Irish voices around (and cool politics if you go for that).

(This info brought to you by the decidedly non-cute Fatveg).

Okay...Fatveg is a cutie-pie, in spite of his off-putting screen name (dimensionally challenged turnip?).

Now...what DOES your signature mean?

Actually, dimensionally challenged turnip ain't a bad description...
My name is a contraction of 'Fat Vegetarian'. I got fed up with people having the stereotype that us Veges are all thin and pasty. I wish. I bet Ms. Corr eats meat.

As for the signature, it says 'Om Mani Padme Hum' (or 'Om mani Peme Hung') in Tibetan, which translates as 'Om Jewel Lotus Hum'. It's the Chenrezig Mantra

Tell us something.: I'm a New York native who gradually slid west and landed in the Phoenix area. I like riding on the back seat of a tandem bicycle. I like dogs and have three of them. I am a sometime actor and an all the time teacher, husband, and dad.

Tim, my younger son:

Coming soon: the older son. He takes most of the pictures, so he's not in very many.

Well, as long as everyone is posting their OWN cutie pies, I thought I would post one of MY cutie pie.

Disclaimer: When she saw what picture I was linking, she said "Noooo...my bangs are terrible!" (Now she's whining that I'm posting this disclaimer as well...)

She's better on the flute than I am, since she's been playing for 11 years. Just recently started the whistle though, so I'm temporarily ahead of her there...

Wow! We're almost at 50! Keep it up, guys!

Here are a few of my favorite cutie-pies:

My daughter Johanna:

Jonah the catfish (with Bubbles the goldfish):

And Cedar, my dear, 15-year-old, blind and deaf doggie, with my hubby who goes by the netnick "Werepoodle":

BTW, FatVeg, I know what you mean about people assuming all vegetarians are sylphs, as I am definitely shaped more like a turnip than a carrot!

What with all the talk of page 50, I was thinking: Wouldn't it be slightly fun if Dale locked up the thread on page 49? I mean, that would be humor!
