Dorothy "Dot" Louise RIP (our dog)

Post by mutepointe »

Dot passed away yesterday peacefully. We had her 12 years and she was an adult when we got her from the shelter. She was a happy and fun dog who had no clue she was a dog. The boys my wife babysat who grew up with her, their Uncle, and Grandfather helped bury her. Their Mom and Granny sent us food.

In her honor, you may consider eating ham or the fast food of your choice.

I remember you talking about her here on many of the pet threads. She sounded like such a sweetie. And like she had you wrapped around her little finger (paw?)

My condolences, Mutepointe! The photos express a dog that, indeed, didn't know she was a dog.

I'm sorry. Dot looks like she had a lot of fun with her folks.

I'm sorry to hear it. It sounds like she had a long and happy life, with lots of people who loved her.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

I'll keep you in my prayers.
"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high
I am the life that'll never, never die.
I'll live in you if you'll live in me -
I am the lord of the dance, said he!
