That's a picture of me a couple years ago just before I got out of the air force. Do I qualify as a cutie-pie?

Aodhan, get me some of msheldon's mead and we'll consider it.

Its a female's job to do the honors but I'm leaning towards the affirmative here.

Ah, I remember those brief shining few months when a band collar shirt was equal to the formal bow tie. The shirts are still in the closet. Kinda tied in with the "secular humanist priest" all-black band collar look as doffed by aging actors, trendies, rock starts and Mayor "I'm conservative now" Jerry Brown (former Gov. Moonbeam). Took me a while to formulate just what it was about those guys that reminded me of real priests....but in an age of anti-religion, those with hyper-inflated sense of self-importance or delivery were like priests of sorts. Remember that Jonathan Pryce guy, first he sold cars in his all black get-up then he was evil media mogul in Bond movie?

And according to the paper, two button suits and coats are coming' back.....So the truly conservatives (those who don't toss anything) will be indeed hip. And Savage's book is Number One today on NY Times bestseller, I hear.

I want to get my contribution in before this thread gets locked. I'm not what anyone would consider a cutie pie except, perhaps for my 3 year old granddaughter. But usually she says, "Grandpa's silly." I don't know why she says that.

Burnsy:

Rumors of this thread's locking are highly exaggerated. No "F" words, ethnic slurs, critical de-construction of other's posts, etc. are present......I don't think so, anyway.

So post the lil cutie-pie's mug and receive hearty handclasps and assurances from yer Daily Cutie-Pie thread!

WOOO HOOOOOO!!!

My first time to actually read this thread and already I'm a cutie-pie too!! I'm jazzed!! Thanks Weekenders!!

I was really worried that there might be pictures of the Corrs twigs hidden in the bowels of this thread and I had missed them. So I took the liberty of searching with Google and found a previously unpublished picture of Andrea that has NEVER before been seen on the internet. Enjoy...

man, I knew she was the "skinny chick" but geez.....

Priceless, Allison!

P.S. My cable company co-erced me into digital cable with introductory offer. Apparently, I am now able to watch that Nigella-chick on tv. What is it, Nigella Bites or something?

So ye new and improved the thread title, Week.

Anyway, here's four generations of cutie pies. Front row, left to right, my great grandmother, my grandmother, my mother, and my sister (back left is my great uncle).

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.
