Dang! I was so happy when this thread turned into a discussion of the weather (and by the way, Alaskans talk about the weather all the time, too, so we have something in common with Brits), and then slid down the list with neglect.

Thank you all. i will give her your messages when I can. She is a little more stable which will buy the doctors time to sort out the drugs but is still very ill. I have been with her for the last few hours and been sent away to sleep but her consultant from "home" is with her now. He went with her in the ambulance and has again been wonderful.
She will fight again, I know, when she has the strength.
Thank you for being here for us. 3am is a horrible dark time.

When the dark closes in, it is easiest to see the faintest glimmers of hope, and the tiniest flickers of energy and strength. It is even easier when there are others with you, in flesh or in spirit, to help hold open the pin-prick windows. May a double rainbow of wonderful bloom from the dark clouds that hover.

Well, haven't on the board much either, but came back to make sure everything was OK... but it's not as OK as I'd like it to be

Please Roland whenever she gets better, tell her that Azalin promises a second clip, another waltz, and this time it's going to be on an english made (Warminster) concertina! But that's only when she's back home and if she eats lot of ice cream
