...it should be easy to see that no one detected the nuance you more recently described. Meanwhile, more experience with conical flutes, and the recording thereof, will most likely lead the listener to conclude that the execrable quality of the recordings is chiefly responsible for the abundance of high-end whoosh audible on the Forbes clips, rather than the playing for KC. Cheers,
