Very impressive. I have a dixon trad, but there is no way I will attempt that tune.

Well Done

Thanks for your comment. I could have got it perfect eventually, but I decided just to go with the best of three.
I was glad to give it a go as it shows whats possible.

My love is like a red red rose.
This arrangement looked great on paper but the realisation of it showed it to be a bit lacking.
Here it is anyway:

Can you feel the love tonight.
With the added joy of me trying to play the horn:

Another bit of Erik Satie, although all his stuff all sounds much the same.

Some early music played on whistle.

Toccata and Ritornello from Orfeo (whistle quartet):

Another bit of Monteverdi:

I have known this song for over 20 years but never thought of trying it on whistle until yesterday.
I think it works rather well.

A duet by Handel:

This one is interesting because it contains several bottom B's played by putting my pinky partiallyu over the end of the whistle as well as having all six holes closed. This is easier to do on cylindrical whistles but it just about works on the Clarke.

What fun. I enjoyed that. I like the part where you are looking up at yourself playing the whistle. Sorry he left you hanging at the end there. My only "criticism" is that I'd like to hear a little less guitar - maybe tone it down a bit. It seems to overpower things sometimes. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for the reply and criticism. I will pay more attention to the sound mix the next time. I agree the the guitar is a bit "overpowering" at times :)

I have been playing for about 11 months now, and I use youtube partially to keep track of my improvement, and to get criticism, so I can improve my playing.
