Whose legs are they?
Just so we don't hijack Tal's thread any further than we have (ahem), I'm making a whole new thread for this!
These are the legs in question:
Props to the person who can actually tell me whose legs they are. I'd give you more than props, but unless you want a child or two, I'm all out of anything good to give as a prize
Anyone? I'm dying to figure it out now!

My first guess would be Mitzi's followed by Betty's.

Re: Whose legs are they?
My first guess would be Betty's. That's Betty ("Legs") Grable. I can't find an image that matches Izz's though. I've googled some images of Mitzi Gaynor, but I do not think that those are her legs. There is a picture of her wearing a garment similar to the little that is shown, but, again, the legs do not quite match the picture.
Still, it's fun looking. If I don't find a matching image on Betty Grable, I'll examine Ginger Rogers' legs after that...

No luck with Cyd Charise or Juliette Prowse. This is grueling work, you know ...

Re: Whose legs are they?
Yeah, Cyd Charisse was an obvious suspect. No luck with Leslie Caron either, although I'd say her legs were a very close match to those in the picture.

i stand by it , that they are those of Margaret Thatcher , from her days ( nights? ) as a coctail waitress , in Ronnie Scott's club , London ?
she was quite a dazzler , back then ..

I got quite attached to this one (sorry about the focus, that's Victoria's camerawork)izzarina wrote: unless you want a child or two, I'm all out of anything good to give as a prize
but one this size would fit better in my luggage.
btw, my guess would be Shirley McLaine, but she's probably a bit too near the end of the era.

Just viewed 30 pages of Ginger Rodgers pix. No ID on the gams.

Re: Whose legs are they?
I am like IB in that I always assumed they were Betty Grable of the famous legs.
I will leave it up to you fellers to search out the actual owner of those gams.

Re: Whose legs are they?
You beat me to that suggestion, but it's not quite the same photo.
I'm still not 100% sure, once you've seen one pair of lady's legs in fishnet stockings, they all get a bit samey.
