Flute in the Bathtub
On a lighter note... I took a nice warm bath and practiced my flute at the same time. It's a Forbes so it's all good. Sounds great in there.
Am I the only one who has done that?

If these words describe you:
Nubile,
Female,
Super Hotty, etc.
Pics or it didn't happen!
If not...well, at least you have good hygeine... and... umm... that is pretty important too.
Ya think Forbes might make "tub session" head with loofah attached to the top?

a loufa headjoint... interesting idea...
if you dip the flute in a bubble bath, can you blow six bubbles at once? or would it be seven?
hmmmmm.... perhaps an experiment is in order....

My bathtub's lefty.

Someone should write a tune using the title of this thread.

Re: Flute in the Bathtub
I gave away my PVC flute and need to make a new one before summer. I lived with my flute in the swimming pool. Tip the end below the water line, vary the depth, and you get some good whale sounds. If you're exceptionally talented, you could probably play a song in the same manner as a slide whistle.

Though I was much less animated, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I look much closer to him than a nubile hottie...Tjones wrote:This has been posted before, but it's worth posting again.

Re: Flute in the Bathtub
I often play my flute in the bathroom while the tub is filling. Hasn't been a problem so far. Can't say I have even thought od submerging my flute in the tub though! I'd rather have my 'bubble' effect out of the pool!

Re: Flute in the Bathtub
Thank you so much for that link. I just listened to most of it but had to stop because my wife just got out of the shower. I like to save things, especially if I can justify saving enough things to say that I have a collection. I saved quite a few old-fashioned pop bottles this last year. When we finally get to have a pool party this summer, I'm going to tune them to different notes and we'll have a concert. I got enough that a good 16. That's enough for a scale and to hand people up to 3 bottles for chords. Woo Hoo.

Oh, I wonder if its available as a ring tone??? Or better yet, a musical screen saver?? Also gonna strongly suggest it as wedding music for my nephew and his fiance who are living in Costa Rica! Maybe they'll be open to the idea of renting a 10 seater hot tub for me and my whiskey bottle chorus accompaniment!
