All is well. Lesley has been sitting up most of the day and has restarted her cardiac physio. If she is still OK tomorrow she will sit in a chair and ordinary physio will also start, to rebuild her strength. I must remember to remind her she walks with a stick, or she will fall and break her nose again! She will have forgotten!

She sends her love and thanks to you all, and will send a note when she can. She hasn't yet managed to pick up the whistle as she is still so incredibly frail, but another couple of days of improving and who knows. She says her head is full of tunes and she needs whistle, pencil and paper, so she is all prepared! Now she just needs strength.

Thank you so much from me, too.

OK, you each got a song. Ro got "Pescadores de Hombres" (fishers of men) it's about becoming an apostle. This reminded me of how Ro started out as one thing and ended up as another quite unexpected and quite good at it too. I played that on a 12 string acoustic (amplified) along with the rest of the folk group. Lesley got the Lamb of God. I play that on a Crystal flute along with the folk group and it's more an air, with harmony. I hope this all helped with the healing.

Remember, please, that my offer of a Sweetheart "walking stick" flute remains.

Yes, Lesley hates the damned stick. But, at least this one's a flute, too.

Send me a PM along with your mailing address, and I'll get it on the way to you, as a gift.

Thank you all. Your kindness is just unbelievable, and your love and prayers have sustained us both, and continue to do so.

Lesley has had a good night and I am just off to visit her.

Lesley is gradually "refilling" - she is getting a little pinker, looks a little stronger, moves a little better. I have given her all your messages - one of the highlights of her day - and she sends her love and grateful thanks.

Today she has been sitting in a chair! And looks OK! She has had some "proper" physio, as she calls it, to distinguish it from the cardiac physio,, and has moved various bits of herself as instructed. She has also stood up, with a lot of help from the therapists and a lot of giggling from Lesley as she made a mess of it. She said she amused the rest of the ward, anyway, and she managed not to break her nose, so things are improving!

She was very tired by this evening, and I am not going back to her now unless I am needed, as she needs to rest. She is still waiting to be able to manage pencil, paper and whistle as she is bursting with tunes, apparently! But she cannot yet steer them in the right direction as she is still so weak. It will come.

Thank you all for everything. I cannot end each day without thanking you, for the support for me, the love for Lesley and the way that there is always something interesting for me to tell her after I have read the posts. As I go nowhere except my room and her ward, and see few people except her, it is a big help to have new things to tell her. She is so positive and enthusiastic about everything that it is a treat to be with her, and I like to be able to make it fun for her too.
