Roland, Laura and I are praying for both of you. Remember you are not alone. Neither is Lesley. There is a lot of Chiffdom that is pulling for you!
Hang in there.

I haven't been on the computer much the last couple weeks, and haven't checked in to C&F for many days. Roland, I am so sorry to come back and hear Leslie is in such danger again. She is so brave, as are you. My thoughts are with you.

Well, if anybody could know about Lesley's condition, it's Lesley, and apparently she has concluded that she has had ENOUGH of all this illness!

Please, don't argue with her.

Lesley continues to survive on will power alone. She is slowly, so slowly, improving.
Thank you all for your kindness.

Lesley was sitting up, propped up with pillows, when I went in this morning. She has no strength to talk, or move herself, but enjoyed being able to see. Her consultant is thrilled - they all expected her to die some days ago, and she is still here, and so slowly improving. Thank you all.

I have been away from C&F for the last couple of weeks. Know that I am redoubling my prayers for Lesley. My heart is with you both.

Good to hear that there is still improvement, however slow.

My warmest thoughts are with you both, and hope for health and healing.

None of you can know just how much your care, support and love has meant to me over this dreadful week. I have been so close to falling apart myself and you have kept me together. It is still incredible to me that you, who know neither of us, can care so much for Lesley and for me. I will be eternally grateful.

Lesley was exhausted this afternoon. She had asked for paper and pencil this morning, which I took back with me, but she cannot pick up the pencil. I have told her it is good brain practice, all this memorising! She just looked disgusted! She said this morning that she was glad she had put some effort into learning ABC over the holiday - she knew it would be useful! Thanks, those who advised her.

I left her sleeping, still looking so terribly ill, but as soon as her eyes open her determination, and this strange knowledge, are obvious. She is so strong - inside only, unfortunately!

Thank you again - I have said this before, too many times, but I am so proud to be able to call you all my friends.

I know I've only been active on these forums for a short while, but even in that short time, Lesley has given me valuable advice and encouragement. I've been praying for the both of you daily, and am glad to hear she is doing well. You both continue to be on all our hearts and minds. Best wishes.
