Tell us something.: I'm just trying to update my profile. I need to change my location since I no longer is living in Sweden. I'm still playing the whistle though for the most time I'm just a lurker on the Chiff and Fipple board.

There is also a short film about Julie Fowlis, fairly new at Youtube....very good. Too short though. Some whistling.

The second one is a Dixon Trad, isn't it? I'm guessing she used it so she could tune it to play with the Gen.

To me it looks like a MK3 Feadog green head on a nickel tube.

I have to ask: are there stock Gens in green or is it some form of mod?

Some months ago Julie Fowlis said this: "A few years back I also received an amazing few improved Feadog whistles made by Cillian O'Briain from Co. Kerry, one made especially for me in E major (only the second one he ever made) as it suits my preferred singing keys, that is the one from the Transatlantic Sessions clip."

On this thread: http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php ... s&start=15

Maybe it's a Cillian O'Briain Improved Feadog on a Generation tube.
