I have heard and seen many of his sets.
He was a master craftsman.

Tragic!
What a great loss to the piping community this is.
How did he pass? Was it an accident?
I have always admired his workmanship.
He made some of the best sounding and aesthetically pleasing sets .

My heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. I was just admiring one of his sets a few weeks ago; marvellous. Peace, Alain, and thank you.

Sad news!
My sympathies to his family, friends and anyone on his very long waiting list that now will have to look elsewhere for a set.

It's a sad news that shook the whole piping world, especially those pipers and friends that were very closed to him.
He was like a grandfather to me and a guide in those dark times that every piper faces.

I'd like to ask people not to use this thread, and this forum, to talk about the specifics of this man's death. Those who want to know more about this can find out easily enough. But, let's use this forum to pay respects and not to enter into something that may need to remain a private family matter.
