I've looked on the Big Whistle website and there's nothing about the Blackbirds coming in. Also, I contacted them a few weeks ago to ask when they were anticipating delvery so I could place an order and as yet, I have had no reply.
It seems like us poor souls on the other side of the pond might be better buying directly from you - or do you have another outlet in the UK?
I put them in the mail October 8. According to the US Postal Service tracking website, "Attempted Delivery Abroad, October 13, 2008, 5:02 am, GREAT BRITAIN." I've sent an email to Phil Brown at BigWhistle to confirm that he does in fact have them.
Are these Blackbirds available in C? If so, how much?

I'm sending you some money, decided thats the best thing to do to get my hands on a real special 'Blackbird' You said in an earlier post that the postage is the same worldwide, this is great news.
Any substantial reviews of the current version of the birdie yet (with strengthened low notes)? My curiosity is pricked.

The whistles were finally delivered to BigWhistle on October 28. They spent 15 days in customs.
Looking at the BigWhistle price - it is the way to go for UK buyers. I had $20 added by customs etc. to the total direct price from Jerry. And the $ has a bit more strength at the mo too.
