Ah Roland...reading about Lesley's progress has been the high point of my day!

I'm not certain, but I believe you can get your own account here, even though you share an email address, simply by re-registering under a different username. If that doesn't work, however, you can always get an alternative email address (my husband uses a yahoo addy as his primary address for such things, rather than our main cruzers addy, which I use). While we'll be glad to have Lesley back, we'd hate to lose you...you've become very much a part of this community!

More cycling on the exercise bike for Lesley today. Good job she enjoys cycling, as another bike has now been installed in our small sitting room here for her to use when she is discharged! We used to cycle miles over our commons, so she is used to it!

She has also been walking, as the physios are working hard on her mobility as well as her heart health. They are being really great with her and she is loving it, feeling that she is doing well and wanting to achieve more. Her dream of dancing again is becoming more of a reality every day. That is so wonderful: a non-dancing Lesley would be incomplete - it is so much a part of her. That and her music, and her kindness, and her genuine interest in everyone and everything - I could go on but will stop before I become boring! She is just amazing to me.

We hope that she will be coming "home" by the end of the week. She will still spend a good part of each day in the gym, having tests and treatment, etc etc, but we will be living together again, something I haven't dared even to dream of until now. Then, eventually, we will go home properly, to Lesley's beloved Devon. She will be able to see the sea again, to "refresh her soul", as she says.

She is calmer about it all than I am now, I think, probably because she is working so hard that her "rest" time is mostly spent sleeping. I just watch her, so vulnerable when she is asleep and so incredibly strong when she is awake! We are so lucky.

We are both well, Lesley is doing well, and she is happy.

I'm hoping the lack of an update means that they're cycling away and chillin' in their home away from home.
