Hammy Hamilton Cocus 6-Key Flute (pix+ clip at bottom)
This is not for sale!
...I just thought yous would enjoy the display of absolutely superb workmanship. The flute is brilliant on every front. It plays loud, quietly, and anything inbetween. The "leaf-less" sprung keys are great looking and every key is set to the perfect touch. I suppose 30+ years of flute making might do that to a fellow! Take note of the key configuration which is set up for a "piper's grip." I have a sister one coming in Eb shortly and I'll be sure to post those snaps as well.
Enjoy!

Has Hammy moved to France?
Nice and original! I like it. Pretty cocus too!
Here is a older version...

new Hammy
Wow - nice cannon! It looks huge in the pix & really pretty keywork. If you post some audio clips I'll certainly give a listen. Congratulations & enjoy!

I suspect it will be about 50 years...kkrell wrote:No, no, no. Cocus, as in the thread title. It just may look a bit fresh right now (so do his blackwood flutes), but bound to turn dark soon enough.s1m0n wrote:Is that Mopane?

Does it take that long for Cocus? My Hammy blackwood turned black pretty quick. And I wash my hands first.Jon C. wrote:I suspect it will be about 50 years...kkrell wrote:No, no, no.
