Hi, everyone!

Thank you all so much for taking such care of Ro for me. I am incredibly grateful as I was very worried about him.

I am feeling much better and am gradually shedding tubes and bits of equipment like a snake shedding its skin! I shall be interested to meet whoever emerges (hope I like her - or him, of course!).

I hope you know what a difference you have made to both our lives lately. It is just amazing to me how much you have all cared and we both remain deeply grateful. This "company of musicians" (am I quoting Cork?) is a company I am proud to be included in (and I never end a sentence with a preposition).

With love,

Lesley.

Typed as usual by her willing slave!

Lesley has been up in a chair today! And coped with it well - none of the exhaustion of last time. Apparently she has managed to bribe the physiotherapist to visit tomorrow!

All is well.

Ro

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

That's very good news!

You both remain in our thoughts. It's surely good to hear that Lesley is doing so much better!

Greetings once again Lesley and Ro. I played a tune for you in Port Isaac tonight! :)
"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high
I am the life that'll never, never die.
I'll live in you if you'll live in me -
I am the lord of the dance, said he!

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

I've only played one tune in three days, but when I did I thought briefly about whether the tiniest sound wave might still be intact as it passes over the British Isles so that devondancer may hear it.

I worry that she'll have a relapse if even the tiniest soundwave of my playing reaches her!

Glad you're up and almost about, Lesley! A toast to your continued improvement!

Lesley will be so pleased to know that all these tunes are floating in her direction. I'll tell her to keep the window open!

Hope she likes harp music. I'll play a good, rousing march for her today.
