Anyone else notice the forum is slowing down
I have been having problems the past couple of days with the forum moving very slow. Also, if I try to open a second or third page of a thread I get a Internal Server Error. I have to close the forum and re-opne again to view these. I notice this both on my home computer and my work computer. All other forums and online activity I use are fine. Anyone else having troubles?

I noticed the same thing.
Also, I use a 24" wide screen and always run my browser smaller than full screen, and I'm noticing some pages aren't auto-fitting the text and I'm having to scroll horizontally to read everything. Just a few...not all. Odd. It's just started doing it and I haven't experienced this on other forums. I'm using Firefox because I can't stand Internet Explorer.
In fact I just got an error trying to preview this reply.

Hi All ... Yes, Dale and Rich and the mods are all aware of the problems. We're seeing them, too. Slooow page loads and internal server errors. Stay tuned.

- Tell us something.: I'm just trying to update my profile. I need to change my location since I no longer is living in Sweden. I'm still playing the whistle though for the most time I'm just a lurker on the Chiff and Fipple board.

I've assumed several times in the last couple of days that it's a ploy to stop me posting in the Proctology Dept.

He jested, quaff'd and swore."
They cut me down and I leapt up high

Actually, when that happens to you, the forum seems to be speeding up. Along with everything else!hoopy mike wrote:I thought it was just me that was slowing down. Maybe it's an age thing.

Stop being so egocentric. Its more likely the proctology place itself is causing the prob. I think its time that Dale considered deleting it totally. Given the overly Western world focus of the "discussions" therein it is no wonder it is constipating the whole board. Not enough chilli and spice IMO.SteveShaw wrote:I've assumed several times in the last couple of days that it's a ploy to stop me posting in the Proctology Dept.
